During this happy season, I become the jolly man,
In and out thro’ the clouds, I ‘weave’ when I can.
I send presents all over, to children with dreams,
The stardust I sprinkle makes them sleep, it seems.
On the eve of Christmas, whether stormy or not,
I start my work at midnight so I’ll not be caught.
With nine brave reindeer, a glittering red sleigh,
We land on the roofs of houses, large and small,
For any child who believes in Santa I give my all.
Into the chimney I squeeze and
tiptoe to the hall,
(No-one knows, but my body is like
a rubber ball).
I see a shiny tree; I place the
presents on the floor,
(I think I may leave later through
the front door).

It’s time for me to go, there are many houses more,
Where kids wait for sunrise to
unwrap gifts galore.

I’m glad to see joy light up in
a sweet innocent soul.

great, how do you find so matching n beautiful pictures.. :)
Dear Owais, I write the poems, my daughter does the images. She goes to free images on the net and checks out every picture. There was one picture I liked - luckily she checked it out. It cost 200 dollars.
