Add a top-hat and a muffler and I am having a ball.
A carrot long and pointed makes me rather nosy
Shiny buttons for twinkling eyes allow me to see.
Bits of coal form an ebony smile to glow in the dark
Twigs to make bony arms into my sides are stuck.
From the yard I watch children gambol in the snow
I know about the stolen kisses under the mistletoe.
Aroma of baked cookies waft through the window sill
Robin redbreast on my shoulders sings a sweet trill.
At midnight when nice little kids are sound asleep
I direct Santa from his sleigh to go and take a peep.
He lays beautiful presents under the Christmas tree
He leaves me a magic broom as he ho ho hos merrily.
I love to watch the lights twinkle shimmery and clear
I hope the cold weather will last longer this year.
I wish the wind and snow will keep away the sun
I would love to stay around for I am having fun.
