We are Santa’s helpers with a trillion chores to clear,
And just before Xmas is our busiest time of the year.
Presents need to be wrapped to be sent out on the eve,
Forgetting any child would surely make Santa grieve.
We have huge machines that can churn out everything,
Toys, hot cocoa, cookies,
chocolate and even clothing.
We try not to bother Ma Santa;
she’s quite busy herself,
We wash our green uniforms and lay them on the shelf.
We wash our green uniforms and lay them on the shelf.
We help Santa with kids’
letters; we count them twice,
We sort out the gifts and place
them according to size.
Working all day in Santa’s
Workshop is really exciting,
Once the festivities are over we still do work every day,
Reindeer’ coats are brushed; their barns filled with hay.
Don’t think we’re abused or
that Santa keeps us caged,
Our cheeks may be rosy, but wrinkles show we’re aged.
Children, if you think you’ve seen us and aren’t that sure,
Look out for pointy ears and hats
and be filled with cheer. Our cheeks may be rosy, but wrinkles show we’re aged.
Children, if you think you’ve seen us and aren’t that sure,

lovely & beautiful both poem & presentation, i must say your blog is one of most beautiful that i have seen.
Thank you Owais. You can do that for your poems too - but not on VoicesNet. You have to start your own blog. From there you can link the blog to facebook.
