Not many children know I have much work to do,
I get Xmas presents ready that Santa sends out to you.
When Santa is busy with his reindeer, elves and sleigh,
I am in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning the whole day.
Elves learn math, geometry and language; they need to be bright,
To measure, build, draw, wrap and write your presents right.
It is I, Mama Santa, who gets them ready for school at sunrise,
For dear papa is checking to see, if you're naughty or nice.
Their work with Santa starts when your letters pour in,
Making trains, ships, aeroplanes, dolls and many a machine.
Breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper I prepare for them,
A thousand elves eating and drinking at the table, is mayhem.
To get their clothes clean I use a huge machine to
wash-dry,It's convenient at the North Pole where the sun is often shy.
I work three hundred and sixty-four days from morn till night,
When you're busy opening presents, on the 26th, I sleep tight.
I think it's time I take things easy for I am getting old,
Going to tell Santa and the elves to franchise all over the world.
