Spectacular
sun! It stirs us from sweet slumber
to streak across the sky in
stunning splendor,
A scourge on smooth skins in sizzling
summers
its sinews are shrouded with springtime showers,
Shadows
slip by as it slinks into sunset's shade
it sleeps as sparkling
stars stand by in its stead,
Solar strength is survival's salvation
for every season
sunshine is our system's supportive
supplement,
Shimmery, sheeny, scorching stellar
steady,
significant, scintillating star!

Awesome alliteration! How do you do it? Not easy to write meaningful poetry with such style and techniques. Nishu
Thank you, dear Nishu. From the time I started writing poems, I've enjoyed doing alliterations. I like the sounds of the repetition of similar consonants. Be forewarned, though, there are more of them on the way.
